Are you worried about your thinning face?

In my quest to continuously offer patients safe and effective treatments, I’m proud to introduce the Stem Cell Facelift, a new type of regenerative treatment that restores a more youthful face by revitalizing the skin, boosting collagen and leaving skin plumper and more even in pigmentation.

So what is a stem cell facelift?

This treatment uses stem cells derived from a small fat sample taken from the patient’s body – this kick starts the regeneration process – in a totally natural way. The Stem Cell Facelift softens and corrects wrinkles, treats skin pigmentation (for example on the face or cleavage), fills and treats tear troughs, erases dark circles, hides scars and creates a more youthful, natural look.

The concept of using a patient’s own cells to repair or regenerate ageing or injured tissues is not completely new. I pioneered aesthetic regenerative medicine using platelet rich plasma to develop my patented Dracula PRP Therapy. This approach isolates growth factors from blood that is then re-injected in order to heal and regenerate tissues. However, the Stem Cell Facelift takes this theory of regeneration even further.

Throughout the ageing process, there is a natural reduction in skin quality. This is because the amount of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid lessens, plus the bone structure shrinks, leaving looser skin over a smaller frame. The Stem Cells Facelift works to regenerate the skin, making it plumper, stronger, more elastic and more even in pigmentation. This means the treatment works with your body, naturally integrating with your tissues without creating inflammation – giving results that last much longer.

“Very positive experience. Dr Sister took his time to answer my questions and made sure I fully understood the treatment. My skin has never looked better, would highly recommend!”

What does the treatment involve?

We remove a small amount of from fat via minimal liposuction, choosing from an area where there is excess, or unnecessary, fat – for instance, the buttocks. This fat is then emulsified and using a small needle, re-injected into the face.

As with PRP, this is an autologous treatment, meaning the injected substance is entirely derived from your own body, with no synthetic, toxic, or animal derived products. This means you cannot be allergic to the treatment.

Stem cells regenerate, rather than just rejuvenates the treated area. This means that the treatment works with your body, naturally integrating with your tissues without creating any inflammation – plus the results will last much longer.

How long does treatment take?

Treatment takes around under one hour and patients may experience some bruising around the liposuction site, and some may experience some minimal bruising at area of treatment.

When will I see results?

Results are two-fold. Immediately after treatment there will be noticeable plumpness to the skin, however, true results can take up to three months to appear, as the stem cells need time to differentiate, stimulate and renew the skin.

I am excited to now be able to offer this cutting edge, safe, effective treatment at my London clinic. If you would like to know if this treatment is suitable for you, please get in touch.

Put the spring back into your skin

Dracula PRP Therapy™is a powerful anti-ageing treatment that involves using your own blood as an injectable treatment. Sometimes known as Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy, Dr Daniel Sister was the first to introduce the treatment into the UK, and has now perfected his own unique system, called Dracula Therapy™.

Dr Sister takes a small sample of the patient’s blood (about the same amount as an average blood test). He then separates it into red blood cells, clear serum and platelets – through a process of centrifugation. Vitamins and amino acids can be added before this super-charged serum is injected into the patient, using tiny painless injections, in whichever area requires treatment.

So what does it do? Essentially it allows the body to heal faster and more efficiently. It stimulates DNA repair, heals scars and makes dry lacklustre skin look and feel younger. Not only is it an amazing anti-ageing treatment, but it also has wider uses within the medical profession, including treating hair loss and sports injuries.

“The results I have gained from the Dracula PRP Rederm are astounding. My cheeks feel very full & firm, my eyes look less sunken, my skin is more hydrated & definitely the elasticity has improved. As a result of the improved pigmentation I do not wear any foundation. I am booking in for my next one as soon as possible. Thank you Dr Sister.”

Results are noticeable within 3-4 weeks and often only one treatment is required. It works especially well for the forehead, cheeks, neck, décolletage, hands, knees and elbows. It’s amazing at skin revitalisation, tackling scars (including acne scars) and stretch marks. It can be mixed with dermal fillers to treat lines, administered during the same appointment as muscle relaxing injections for a lifting effect and really tackle any skin related problems.

Dracula PRP Therapy™ appeals to patients looking for a more natural approach to facial rejuvenation, i.e. rejuvenation using their own cells and more specifically, autologous platelet-rich plasma and facial augmentation without the use of synthetic fillers or animal products.

Treatment may need to be repeated every 2-6 months because of the on-going ageing process.

Dr Sister trains other medical professionals in Dracula PRP Therapy™ (over 100 in just 2013 alone), and has personally performed over 700 procedures.

An alternative to eye surgery

Plexr Plasma Soft Surgery for blepharoplasty and much more

Dr Sister is pleased to announce that he is now offering the Plexr Plasma Soft Surgery System. This is an incredible alternative to invasive surgery, reducing risk, recovery time, cost and possible complications.

What is it used for?

Plexr’s most common use is blepharoplasty – (eyelid surgery) a corrective procedure that addresses issues of the eyelids, which tightens the skin around the eyes reducing droop, puffiness and excess skin.

However, Plexr can be used for a range of other issues. These include eye bags, face and neck lifts, removing moles, treating scars and removing stretch marks.

“The Plexr Plasma Soft Surgery was the perfect solution for the sagging skin around my eyes. Being a bit squemish about surgery this was a welcome alternative. So pleased with the results!”

How does it work?

Plexr uses what is called the forth state of matter – plasma. It ‘sublimate’s’ the tissue being treated by ionising gases the gas particles in the air between the tip of the device and the skin being treated, to create an electrical arc (like a tiny lightening bolt). No heat spreads to the surrounding areas. Whereas a surgical option would remove the tissue, Plexr causes the tissue to contract and tighten, and results are instant.

What happens during treatment?

Before treatment begins a topical anaesthetic cream is applied to the skin and left in place for around 3o minutes. The treatment itself may feel hot, but should not be too uncomfortable.

Is there any downtime?

The downtime associated with Plexr Soft Surgery is far less than with conventional surgery. There will be some redness and swelling for two-three days, then the skin will form a scab which must not be picked, scratched or rubbed. This will fall off within the first week to reveal new, pink skin.  It is important that the treated area is kept clean, that you do not use any products not recommended by Dr Sister and that you stay out of the sun.

How long do results last for?

Results will last for as long as those achieved with conventional surgery.
